Winter Weather, Delayed Opening and School Closures

Due to the adverse weather forecast issued for the remainder of this week, we would like to remind parents/guardians of the procedures which will be followed.In the event that the school is closed or partially closed (later opening time) information will be publicised on Aberdeen City Council’s website and Northsound One Radio Station (01224 337047).

The information will also be available on the school website and the Schools Bad Weather telephone line.

Kaimhill School is facilities managed by Robertson.  Priority areas for clearing snow during adverse weather include the main entrance to the school, the car park and fire exits.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you all to ensure that the school holds the correct contact information for your child. In addition to this, it is also important to ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather – warm jacket, boots, scarf, hat and gloves. It may also be a good idea to provide a change of clothing.
