Nursery charter

In nursery we have been thinking about the rights that children have.

We have chatted about how children have the right to be safe & healthy (UNCRC Article 24) and the right to play (UNCRC Article 31), and what adults in nursery could do to help them.  The nursery children had lots of great ideas about what being safe and healthy was and how they could make sure that everyone got a chance to play.

We made a display for morning and afternoon nursery with our hand prints showing that we agreed to help everyone to be safe, healthy and able to play in nursery.
