Nursery garden development

The nursery children have been working hard to improve their outside space.

We started off with a flower bed full of weeds so we had to pull them all out before planting lots of flowers and seeds.  We loved digging in the soil!

We found out that plants have roots that go down into the ground to suck up water to drink, and also that the plant grows up to get the sunlight.

We are looking forward to seeing what our our garden looks like once the seeds have all grown into flowers.
