Nursery watching the ballet

During Term 2 the nursery children were invited to watch a ballet performance in the gym hall along with the P1 and P2 classes.

When the children arrived there were lots of boxes on the stage which were covered in branches to look like trees.  In the story there was a man who visited the forest but he didn’t like getting dirty and was afraid of climbing trees.  As he walked through the woods he met a forest girl called Poggle and she helped him to overcome his fears and enjoy playing among the trees and mud.

The children thought the performance was great and afterwards they were invited to look inside the boxes which were full of wildlife models.
